A song and a monologue
Wednesday Mar 23, 2022
Wednesday Mar 23, 2022
"Firecracker" written by Johnny Keyz. He and the band had recorded this a while back and Johnny let me put my own spin on the vocals. That's him on the piano, Tim Lynch on guitar and Alex Arzamastsev on drums. Alex also did the production work. Go to JohnnyKeyzMusic on YouTube for more of his tunes.
Also I have been thinking a while on the "Best Town on Earth" moniker that my hometown claims. Even helped write a song about it a decade or so ago. After waking up way too early this morning, I recalled a conversation I had with the mayor of Madisonville. We talked about what made it the best town on earth.
I figured I say a few words and throw it out to the world, if for no other reason that to get my feet wet with a monologue.
Am certainly open to feedback, good or bad or indifferent. Replies can be sent via the podcast site, or you can email me blindoldhog@gmail.com
Thanks for listening.
